Pastor Mark is excited to serve as Pastor at the church he and Pat have called home for over 40 years. Mark joined Pleasant View as an Associate Pastor in 2018, and served as Interim Pastor from January 2021 through July 2022. He graduated from both Purdue University and Indiana University before having an extensive career as a teacher and principal. After retirement he felt God calling him into the ministry and he began a new career path and began studying at Northern Seminary. He is in the Master of Arts program studying Theology and Mission. Mark has also completed the American Baptists of Indiana-Kentucky’s Church Leaders Institute.

Mark and his wife Pat have been together on their marriage journey since 1980. They have 2 married children and 6 grandchildren. They enjoy spending as much time with their grandchildren as possible.

His favorite TV shows like NCIS and any sports featuring the Purdue Boilermakers.

Having served as a school teacher for 35 years, Maureen now flexes her administrative muscles at Pleasant View Baptist as our secretary.  She is also one of the most sincere, kindest individuals you will ever meet.

Maureen and her husband Bob have one daughter.

Favorite TV Shows:  The Voice and The Incredible Dr Pol.  

Pleasant View is faithfully served by two deacons, Missy Bryan and Mike Forgey.
